Dave is a thought leader and frequent speaker on value based care and healthcare payment reform.  Throughout his 20+ year career he has worked as a consultant, senior executive and entrepreneur with a focus on helping hundreds of providers prepare for and succeed within risk arrangements.  Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act he has founded and helped lead three Value Based Care companies, including an ACO REACH business, an innovative VBC insurance underwriter, and a Convener in Medicare bundled payment programs.    

Dave’s interest and expertise is centered around designing, implementing, measuring and improving  effective payment strategies that deliver value to patients, providers and healthcare purchasers.  Throughout his career he has led care and risk management initiatives across all aspects of the care continuum, including with: primary care physicians; specialists; acute care hospitals; pediatric health systems; skilled nursing facilities; home care companies; and hospice providers.  He has a particular passion for working with physicians and longitudinal performance data to understand what great care looks like, identify who is delivering it, and to create reimbursement structures that help improve the delivery of healthcare across the market.
